କଳ୍ପବଟ ଓ ବାଞ୍ଛା ବଟ ଦୁଇଟି ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ସର୍ବ ପାବନ ସ୍ଥଳ। ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯାହା ଆଜି ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ତାହା କଳ୍ପ ଆରମ୍ଭ, ପ୍ରଳୟ ଶେଷ ସବୁ ସମୟରେ ଏହା ବିଦ୍ୟମାନ । ଭଗବାନ ବିଷ୍ଣୁ ସ୍ୱୟଂ ଶିଶୁ ରୂପରେ ବଟ ପତ୍ରରେ ଶୟନ କରି ଭାସୁଥିବା ଓ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କ ଦାରୁ ବିଗ୍ରହ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ନୀଳମାଧବ ରୂପେ ବିଶ୍ୱାବସୁ ଶବର ପୂଜା କରୁଥିବାର କିମ୍ବଦନ୍ତୀ ରହିଛି । କଳ୍ପବଟର ଚତୁଃପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ବଟେଶ୍ଵର, ବଟକୃଷ୍ଣ, ବାଳମୁକୁନ୍ଦ, ବଟ ମଙ୍ଗଳା, ବଟ ନାରାୟଣ, ବଟ ଗଣେଶ, ରାଧାକୃଷ୍ଣ, ପତିତପାବନ/ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କ (ବଟ ଅବକାଶ), ପଞ୍ଚୁ ପାଣ୍ଡବ, ମହାଦେବ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ରହିଛନ୍ତି। କଳ୍ପବଟ ଚତୁଃଵର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଫଳପ୍ରଦ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ପାବନକାରୀ ତୀର୍ଥ ଅଟେ। ପ୍ରାୟ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଦି ସନାତନ ଧର୍ମ ପୁରାଣରେ ଏହି କଳ୍ପବଟର ମହାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା ହୋଇଛି। ଯଥା ସ୍କନ୍ଧ ପୁରାଣ, ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ପୁରାଣ, ତୀର୍ଥ ଚିନ୍ତାମଣି, ଭାଗବତ ମହାପୁରାଣ, ହରିବଂଶ, ଭବିଷ୍ୟ ପର୍ବ, ପ୍ରେମ ଭକ୍ତି, ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ଗୀତା, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରକଳା, ରସିକ ହାରାବଳୀ, ସାରଗୁପ୍ତ ଗୀତା, ତୁଳାଭିଣା, ଅଷ୍ଟ ଗୁଜ୍ଜରୀ ପ୍ରଭୃତି ପୁରାଣ, ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର/କାବ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥ । କାର୍ତ୍ତିକ ମାସ ଶୁକ୍ଳ ତ୍ରୟୋଦଶୀ ତିଥିରେ ବଟ ଦେବତାଙ୍କର ଜୟନ୍ତୀ ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳିତ ହୁଏ। କାର୍ତ୍ତିକର ପଞ୍ଚକ ଅବସରରେ କଳ୍ପବଟର ପୂଜା ଆରଧନା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ରୂପେ ପରମ ପବିତ୍ର ଓ ତାତ୍ପର୍ଯ୍ୟପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। କଳ୍ପବଟ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିବା ମାତ୍ରେ ଏହାର ଛାୟାରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ପାଦ ପକାଇବ। ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ବେଢ଼ା ପରିକ୍ରମା ସମୟରେ କଳ୍ପବଟ ତଳେ ବସି ନୀଳଚକ୍ର ପତିତପାବନ, ଧ୍ଵଜାବୀର-କପିଚକ୍ରକୁ ଚାହିଁ ପ୍ରଣିପାତ କରିବା ସହ ରିଷ୍ଟ ଖଣ୍ଡନ ସହ ସିଦ୍ଧି, ମୁକ୍ତି ମିଳିଥାଏ। କଳ୍ପବଟ ଚିନ୍ତନ ସର୍ବ ପାପକୁ ଅନନ୍ତ ଗର୍ଭରେ କ୍ଷୟ କରି ପୁଣ୍ୟକୁ ଅକ୍ଷୟ କରି ତୋଳିବାରେ ସହାୟକ ହୋଇ ଆସିଛି ।

There is a legend that Lord Vishnu himself slept on a leafy leaf as a child and worshiped the body of Vishwabasu as a sapphire before the wooden idol of Jagannath. Surrounding Kalpabat are Bateshwar, Batakrishna, Balamukunda, Butt Mangala, Butt Narayan, Butt Ganesha, Radhakrishna, Patitapavan / Sreejagnath (Butt Abakash), Panchu Pandav, Mahadev. Kalpabat is a four-pronged fruitful pilgrimage. The greatness of this kalpabat is described in almost all the Adi Sanatan Dharma Purana. Such as Skandha Purana, Brahma Purana, Tirtha Chintamani, Bhagavata Mahapurana, Haribhansha, Bhavishya Parva, Prem Bhakti, Brahma Gita, Chandrakala, Rasik Harabali, Saragupta Gita, Tulavina, Ashta Gujjari etc. Puranas, scriptures On the thirteenth day of the month of Kartik, the jubilee of the Butte deity is celebrated. The worship of Kalpabatar on the occasion of the fifth day of Karthik is definitely the most sacred and meaningful. As soon as Kalpabot sees it, he will step foot in its shadow again and again. During the procession around the fence of the shrine, sitting under the kalpabot, bowing down to the blue wheel, bowing to the banner-kapichakra, and attaining perfection, with the breaking of the wrist, is achieved.
