ସମଗ୍ର ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ସମୟରେ, ସମସ୍ତେ ନିଜ ପାଟିରେ ଏକ କପଡା ଖଣ୍ଡରେ ଘୋଡାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଯାହା ଦ୍ their ାରା ସେମାନେ ନିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୂଷିତ ନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି |  ତା’ପରେ ପାଣିରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି ହୋଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ହାଣ୍ଡି ଭୋଗା ମଣ୍ଡପରେ ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ |  ତା’ପରେ ପୁରୋହିତମାନେ ହାଲାଡି (କଦଳୀ), ଜାଭା (ପୁରା ଚାଉଳ), ଚପଲ (ଚନ୍ଦନ), ଫୁଲ ଏବଂ ଅତର ସହିତ ଜଳକୁ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି |  ଭର୍ତି ଏବଂ ବିଶୁଦ୍ଧ ଜଳ ହାଣ୍ଡି ପରେ ଭୋଗା ମଣ୍ଡପରୁ ସ୍ନାନ ପ୍ଲାଟଫର୍ମକୁ ସୁଆର ଦ୍ୱାରା ଏକ ଲମ୍ବା ଧାଡିରେ ଧାଡିରେ ନିଆଗଲା |  ଏହି ରୀତିନୀତିକୁ 'ଜଲାବିଷେକା' କୁହାଯାଏ |  'ଜଲାବିଶେକ' ଦୁଇଟି ଶବ୍ଦ 'ଜାଲା' ଏବଂ 'ଅଭିଷେକା' କୁ ନେଇ ଗଠିତ |  ଆମର ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଭାଷାରେ 'ଜାଲା' ଅର୍ଥ ଜଳ ଏବଂ 'ଅଭିଷେକ' ଅର୍ଥ ସ୍ନାନ |  ଏହି ଅଭିଷେକା ପୁରୋହିତମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବ ed ଦିକ ମନ୍ତ୍ର ଜପ କରିବା, କୀର୍ତ୍ତନ ଏବଂ ଶଙ୍ଖ ଶେଲର ଫୁଙ୍କିବା ସହିତ ଆସିଥାଏ |  ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ, ସ୍ନାନ ରୀତିନୀତି ପରେ ଦେବତାମାନେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ହାତୀ ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରନ୍ତି ଯାହାକି ଅନ୍ୟଥା 'ହାତି ବେଶା' ଭାବରେ ଜଣାଶୁଣା |  ଭଗବାନ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ଏବଂ ଭଗବାନ ବଳରାମ ହାତୀ ପରି ପୋଷାକ ପିନ୍ଧିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ଦେବୀ ସୁଭଦ୍ରା ଏକ କମଳ ଫୁଲ ଭେସା ପିନ୍ଧନ୍ତି।

 ସ୍ନାନା ଯତ୍ର ପରେ ଦେବତାମାନେ ଅସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇପଡନ୍ତି (ଜ୍ୱର) ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପେଡାଲକୁ ଫେରିବେ ନାହିଁ |  ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭିତରେ ଥିବା 'ରତନ ଭେଡି' ନାମକ ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଅସୁସ୍ଥ କୋଠରୀରେ ରଖାଯାଏ |  ସେମାନେ 15 ଦିନ ପାଇଁ ସର୍ବସାଧାରଣ ଦୃଶ୍ୟଠାରୁ ଦୂରରେ ରୁହନ୍ତି |  ଏହି ଅବଧି 'ଅନସାରା' ଭାବରେ ଜଣାଶୁଣା |  ଅନସାରା ସମୟରେ ଦେବତାମାନେ କେବଳ ଜ୍ୱରର ଉପଶମ ପାଇଁ ପନିର ଏବଂ ଦାସାମୁଲା medicines ଷଧ ସହିତ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ଫଳ ଏବଂ ଜଳ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ |  ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜ medic ଷଧ (ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଚିକିତ୍ସକ) ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ medicines ଷଧ (ଦାସାମୁଲା) ଦ୍ treated ାରା ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରାଯାଏ।  ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଦିନ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଦ daily ନନ୍ଦିନ ରୀତିନୀତି ସ୍ଥଗିତ ରହିଥାଏ |  108 ପାତ୍ର ପାଣି ସହିତ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ନାନ ହେତୁ ଚିତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଉପରେ ରଙ୍ଗ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ରଙ୍ଗଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଲୋପ ପାଇଯାଏ |

 ଡାଏଟା ଚିତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ନୂତନ ରଙ୍ଗ ସହିତ ରଙ୍ଗ କରେ ଏବଂ 16 ତମ ଦିନରେ, ଦେବତାମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ନୂତନ ରୂପରେ ଦୃଶ୍ୟମାନ ହେବା ପରେ ରଙ୍ଗ ସର୍ବସାଧାରଣ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେଲେ |  ପ୍ରଭୁ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଭକ୍ତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଥମ ଦେଖା କରିବାର ପର୍ବକୁ 'ନେଟ୍ରୋଟାସାଭା' (ଆଖି ପାଇଁ ପର୍ବ) ବା 'ନାଭା ଯବାନୋତ୍ସଭା' (ସର୍ବଦା ନୂତନ ଯୁବବର୍ଗର ପର୍ବ) କୁହାଯାଏ |

  ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିରର ସର୍ବ ବୃହତ ବାର୍ଷିକ ହିନ୍ଦୁ ପର୍ବ ରଥ ଯାତ୍ରା (ରଥ ମହୋତ୍ସବ) ଦେଶ ତଥା ବିଦେଶରୁ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଆକର୍ଷିତ କରିଥିଲା ​​|  ପୁରୀର ରଥ ଯାତ୍ରା ଏକ ବାର୍ଷିକ ଉତ୍ସବ ଅଟେ, ଯାହା ରଥମାନଙ୍କରେ 15 ଶତାବ୍ଦୀର ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ଦେବୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା (ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମାଉସୀ) ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବାର୍ଷିକ ଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ଚିହ୍ନିତ କରିଥାଏ |  ଏହି ଉତ୍ସବ ନଅ ଦିନ ପରେ ବାହୁବଳୀ ଯାତ୍ରା (ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଫେରିବା ଯାତ୍ରା) ସହିତ ସମାପ୍ତ ହୁଏ |  ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିର ଏବଂ ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା ମନ୍ଦିର ମଧ୍ୟରେ 3 କିଲୋମିଟର ଲମ୍ବର ବାଡା ଦାଣ୍ଡା (ଗ୍ରାଣ୍ଡ ରୋଡ୍) ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଜାମରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ |  ଭଗବାନ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ, ପ୍ରଭୁ ବାଲାଭଦ୍ର ଏବଂ ଦେବୀ ସୁଭଦ୍ରାଙ୍କ ତିନିଟି ବୃହତ୍ ରଙ୍ଗୀନ ସଜାଯାଇଥିବା କାଠ ରଥ ବାଡା ଦାଣ୍ଡାର ମନ୍ଦିର ନିକଟରେ ସକାଳେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇ ହଜାର ହଜାର ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦଉଡି ଟାଣିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ।

Entire Process Of Cooking ସମଗ୍ର ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା-- 7

During the entire process, all of them cover their mouths with a piece of cloth so as not to contaminate it even with their breath. Then all the pots filled with water are preserved in the Bhoga Mandap. Then the priests purify the water with Haladi (turmeric), Java (whole rice), Sandal (Chandan), flowers and perfumes. The filled and purified water pots then carried from Bhoga Mandap to the bathing platform by the Suaras in a long single line queue. This ritual is called 'Jalabhisheka'. 'Jalabhishek' consists of two words 'Jala' and 'Abhisheka'. In our local language 'Jala' means water and 'Abhishek' means Bath. This Abhiseka is accompanied by chanting of Vedic mantras by the priests, kirtana and blowing of conch shells. At evening, after the bath ritual, the Deities assume the special elephant form which is otherwise known as 'Hati Vesha'. Lord Jagannatha and Lord Balaram dressed like an elephant, and Goddess Subhadra wears a lotus flower vesha.

After Snana Yatra, the deities are supposed to fall ill (fever) and do not return to their pedestal. The Deities are kept on a special sick room called the 'Ratan vedi' inside the temple. They stay away from the public view for a period of 15 days. This period is known as 'Anasara'. During Anasara the Deities offered only fruits and water mixed with cheese and Dasamula medicines to cure of fever. The Deities are treated by the Raj Vaidya (the King's physician) with specific medicines (Dasamulas). During all these days the daily rites of the temple remain suspended. Due to the sacred bath with 108 pitchers of water, the colours painted on the images fade out. 

The Daitas repaint the images with new colours and on the 16th day, the Deities appear in their new forms after colouration become ready for the public view. The festival of the first appearance of the Lord Jagannath to his devotees is called 'Netrotsava' (festival for the eyes) or 'Nava Yauvanotsava' (festival of the ever new youth).

 The biggest annual hindu festival Rath Yatra (chariot festival) of the Jagannath Temple, attracting lakhs of pilgrims from across the country and abroad. Puri’s Rath Yatra is an annual celebration, marking the annual journey of the deities from the 15th century Jagannath Temple in the chariots to the temple of Devi Gundicha (their aunt). The celebration ends nine days later with Bahuda Yatra (return journey to their temple). The 3-km-long Bada Danda (grand road) between the Jagannath Temple and Gundicha Temple is jam-packed with pilgrims. The three gigantic colourfully decked up wooden chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra have been kept ready in the morning near the temple on the Bada Danda ready to be pulled by ropes by thousands of devotees, amid tight security.
